A highly engaging and intellectually stimulating Mathematics Quiz was successfully conducted at Tagore Senior Secondary School, Mahendergarh for students of Grade 7th and Grade 8th. The event was a wonderful demonstration of the students' analytical thinking, quick calculation abilities, and love for the subject of Mathematics.
The event was meticulously organised by the Mathematics Department under the valuable guidance and supervision of our respected Vice Principal, Mr. Sunil Kumar, whose vision for academic excellence continues to inspire every activity at Tagore. A special and heartfelt appreciation goes to Pinki Ma'am and Sharmila Ma'am for their tremendous dedication and significant contribution in planning, organising and executing this event so successfully.
A total of eight enthusiastic teams participated in the quiz with great energy and competitive spirit. Each team displayed impressive preparation, logical reasoning and team coordination throughout the rounds. The jury panel, comprising respected subject teachers, carefully evaluated every team's performance and selected the top three winning teams based on their outstanding command of mathematics and the presence of mind they demonstrated under pressure.
The Mathematics Quiz was a perfect blend of academic rigour, team spirit and enthusiastic participation that brought out the best in every student.
Teams competed across multiple challenging rounds covering arithmetic, algebra, geometry and logical reasoning — testing both speed and accuracy in a structured, fair competition format.
Eight teams of Grade 7 and 8 students demonstrated excellent teamwork, strategic thinking and mutual support — reflecting the collaborative culture that Tagore nurtures in every learner.
An expert panel of jury members evaluated each round with fairness and thoroughness. The top three winning teams were recognised with certificates and mementos, celebrating their mathematical excellence.
